Trade mission to Kazakhstan

Alberta Agriculture and Forestry is leading a trade mission to Kazakhstan with a focus on livestock and genetics.

“Kazakhstan has identified its livestock sector as a priority” and wants to increase beef exports to Russia, said trade officer Aarij Bashir.

The mission will include meetings with government officials and pre-qualified buyers of live cattle and genetics, and a stop in Turkey. Participation in this mission is by application only and up to 50 per cent of travel and accommodation costs (to a maximum of $2,000) may be covered.

For more info, contact Bashir at [email protected] or 780-427-6403. The application deadline is July 31.
