Scholarships available for farm management program

Applications are being accepted for the Robert L. Ross Memorial Scholarship to attend the CTEAM program.

CTEAM (short for Canadian Total Excellence in Agricultural Management and operated by Agri-Food Management Excellence) is Canada’s only national farm management learning program. During the program, farmers learn detailed financial, marketing and human relations management skills, using their own operation as a case study.

Two scholarships, each worth $8,250, can be applied for tuition and travel for the CTEAM program starting in January 2017.

Applicants must be more than 21 years of age and possess a passion and devotion to excellence in farm business management. See agrifoodtraining.com for more info and the application form. The deadline for applying is Sept. 15.

The late Robert (Bob) Ross was instrumental in guiding the CTEAM program, and for inspiring and encouraging farm management excellence across Canada. The scholarship is a joint initiative of the Agri-Food Management Excellence, Farm Management Canada, Family Farms Group, the Ross Family, and an additional private contributor this year.
