Dean Dias has been named interim CEO of the Canadian International Grains Institute, by Cigi chair Kevin Bender.

Dias, who will take over from JoAnne Buth, joined Cigi in 2009 and in his current position liaises with the Canadian value chain and international customers.

“In his progressive roles at Cigi, Dias has gained the knowledge and developed the leadership skills that will serve Cigi well,” said Bender, who farms near Bentley.
