What are your barley research priorities?

The Brewing and Malting Barley Research Institute and the Barley Council of Canada are seeking producer input on developing a national research strategy for barley.

A key objective of the National Barley Research Strategy is to identify, and quantify, the research of highest importance to farmers.

The survey asks respondents about topics such as how much of their farm is seeded to barley (and how that has changed over the past five years), rotation, major challenges in growing barley, and varieties grown.

Alberta Barley encourages barley growers to take the survey, which can be found at surveymonkey.com or by visiting albertabarley.com.
