Agriculture Financial Services Corporation wants to see how its assessments of hail claims compares to the evaluation of farmers who assessed damage in their fields.
The comparison will help “determine the future of adjustments at AFSC and may assist with adjusting speed in the future,” the crop insurer said. A link to the very brief survey can be found on the home page of afsc.ca.
The assessment page also has a link to four videos outlining AFSC’s adjusting practices for crop damage.
The four videos, which cover canola, cereals, field peas and corn, also looks at staging and whether a producer should call for an inspection immediately or wait for damage to emerge.
