The in-person version of the Canadian Beef Industry Conference scheduled for Penticton, B.C. this summer has been postponed for a year.

“2020 has not gone as planned for any individual, and as an industry the best thing we can do is continue to support one another through these challenging times and remain optimistic about our future,” said Ryan Kasko, Alberta feedlot owner and past chair of the event.

Event organizers are now planning the joint effort by the Beef Cattle Research Council, Canada Beef, the Canadian Beef Breeds Council and the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association as a free virtual conference from Aug. 11-13.
