Students who are taking, or about to start, an agricultural bachelor degree program at one of five Canadian universities can apply for a $5,000 scholarship from Bayer CropScience.
There are five scholarships available — one each at the universities of Alberta, Lethbridge, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Guelph.
The Bayer CropScience Scholarship for Future Leaders in Agriculture recognizes students who have demonstrated leadership and contribution to the field of agriculture.
Students already in university must have a 70 per cent average while those starting their degree must have a 75 per cent average for courses determined by Universities Canada criteria. The application deadline is May 15. Details on the scholarships and the application requirements can be found at the Universities Canada website.
