Cattle ID agency names 2018 board of directors

An Alberta veterinarian has been named the recipient of a national award for outstanding contributions to animal health. Dr. Duane Landals of Onoway has been given the 2017 Carl Block Award by the Canadian Animal Health Coalition. Bovine tuberculosis investigation nearly complete

The bovine tuberculosis investigation in southeastern Alberta is wrapping up. Six positive cases were found in one herd after TB was detected in September 2016.
