Canadian Financial Close: C$ weakens slightly Monday

Glacier FarmMedia MarketsFarm – The Canadian dollar was slightly softer relative to its United States counterpart on Monday, seeing a modest correction to start the week after hitting six-week highs on Friday.

The Canadian dollar settled at US$0.7334 or US$1=C$1.3635 on Monday, which compares with Friday’s close of US$0.7341 or US$1=C$1.3623.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down by 0.71 per cent at US$75.00 per barrel.

The TSX Composite Index was weaker, losing 70.45 points to close at 20,032.66 points.

Farmers Edge Inc.—————-    $ 0.00    at $  0.235
