Nominations are now open for the Alberta Milk Dairy Industry Achievement Award.
The award recognizes the contributions of individuals or organizations to the leadership and development of Alberta’s dairy industry. These include:
- Volunteer efforts or committee work in service to the dairy industry;
- Agricultural education and youth activities in the dairy industry;
- Lobbying or championship efforts on behalf of the Alberta dairy industry;
- Scientific contributions to increase production or animal health;
- Environmental or animal stewardship and ambassador.
This year’s recipient will be recognized at Alberta Milk’s dairy conference on Nov. 18, and will be given a commemorative print and vest valued at $500. The nomination form and more information can be found in the News and Events section of albertamilk.com.
Deadline for nominations is Sept. 30.
