Winnipeg, February 17 – The Canadian dollar was slightly lower compared to its US counterpart Friday morning, tracking losses in crude oil.
At 8:40 CST Friday morning the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7641 or C$1.3087 which compares with Thursday’s North American close of US$0.7645 or C$1.3080.
At 8:40 CST Friday morning, the TSX was up 19.22 points, or 0.12%, at 15,864.17.
It’s been a meteoric run for the TSX, which recorded record highs for five days in a row.
