Canadian Dollar and Business Outlook

WINNIPEG, Feb. 27 (CNS Canada) The Canadian dollar was holding near unchanged Monday morning, lacking any clear direction to start the week.

At 8:45 CST Monday morning the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7628 or C$1.3109 which compares with Friday’s North American close of US$0.7628 or C$1.3109.

Crude oil was firmer in in early activity, which provided some underlying support for the energy-linked Canadian dollar.

There were no significant domestic economic releases on Monday.

The TSX was down by 55.64 points at 8:45 CST to sit at 15,477.83.
