Canadian Dollar And Business Outlook

Winnipeg, March 28 – The Canadian dollar was unchanged compared
to its US counterpart Tuesday morning, as investors waited to hear
a speech on Tuesday from Bank of Canada governor Stephen Poloz.
Traders are also gauging the fallout from US President Donald
Trump’s failure to secure a health-care deal and what it could mean
for the rest of his economic agenda.
At 8:58 CDT Tuesday morning the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7474
or C$1.3376 which compares with Monday’s North American close of
US$0.7476 or C$1.3376.
At 8:58 CDT Tuesday morning, the TSX was up 52.25 points, or
0.34%, at 15,558.47.
Businesses using Purolater may be forced to switch to a new
courier in the coming days as the company’s employees appear poised
to strike.
