WINNIPEG, May 2 – The Canadian dollar fell to a 14-month-low against its US counterpart in early activity on Tuesday.
The commodity-linked loonie was feeling pressure from losses in crude oil futures.
At 8:50 CDT Tuesday, the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7296 or US$=C$1.3706, which compares with Monday’s North American close of US$0.7321 or US$1=C$1.3660.
The TSX was down 3.17 points at 8:50 CDT Tuesday morning to sit at 15,572.46.
