Temperatures warmed up somewhat at the eastern end of the Prairies Thursday, as highs reached +8 C in Manitoba’s northern Interlake and on the west side of Lake Manitoba and +5 C around Weyburn and Estevan, and climbed to +11 C around Swift Current and +15 C around Medicine Hat and Brooks.
Highs at WeatherFarm stations also touched just -3 C around Lloydminster and Meadow Lake, -1 C around Prince Albert, North Battleford and Melfort and +2 C around Russell, Roblin and Altona, Man. Lows Thursday dropped to 0 C around Winnipeg, -1 C around Lethbridge, -3 C around Calgary, Regina and Dauphin, -13 C around Vegreville and -15 C around Meadow Lake.
