The edge came off the cold for parts of the Prairies Wednesday as highs hit -10 C around Saskatoon, Grande Prairie, Prince Albert, Fort St. John and Lloydminster, -7 C around Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Kindersley and Roblin, -5 C around Winnipeg, Brandon and Portage la Prairie, -2 C around Edmonton, Peace River and Melita, +2 C around Red Deer, Swift Current and Estevan, +6 C around Red Deer and Drumheller and +14 C around Calgary and Lethbridge.
Lows at WeatherFarm stations on Wednesday dropped to -24 C around Prince Albert and Melfort, -21 C around Saskatoon, Yorkton, Peace River, Lloydminster and Nipawin, -16 C around Edmonton, Red Deer, Grande Prairie and Brandon, -15 C around Regina, Morden, Weyburn and Kindersley, -13 C around Winnipeg and Steinbach, -6 C around Calgary, Medicine Hat and Swift Current and +4 C around Lethbridge.
