A cooler, wetter spell pushed in on the western Prairies Wednesday, with highs reaching 12 C around Vegreville, 16 C around Calgary and Grande Prairie, 17 C around Kindersley and Nipawin, 19 C around Prince Albert and Estevan, 20 C around Edmonton, Winnipeg, Brandon and Medicine Hat and 25 C around Regina and Saskatoon.
Lows generally held above freezing at WeatherFarm stations Wednesday, dipping to 1 C around Calgary and Edson, 4 C around Swift Current, 7 C around Edmonton, Winnipeg, Brandon and Fort St. John, 10 C around Regina, Yorkton, Melfort and Meadow Lake and 13 C around Dauphin.
