– The US dollar moved lower in early activity on Tuesday, pressured by US presidential election-day jitters.
– Canadian housing starts dropped in October, a report from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) said on Tuesday.
At a seasonally adjusted rate condo starts fell 15.3 per cent, while single-detached urban starts dropped 5.4 per cent from September.
Total October housing starts fell to 192,928 units.
