California Restaurant Promotes Canadian Beef – for Oct. 25, 2010

The Beef Information Centre (BIC) says a fast-casual chain of seven restaurants in the greater Los Angeles area has become the first chain in the U. S. to actively promote its use of Canadian beef. L. A.-based Stonefire Grill has added the Canadian Beef brand mark to its marketing materials and offers a Canadian tri tip on its menu. The tri tip is an undervalued cut in Canada compared to regional markets in the U. S., the BIC said.
