Northlands, Edmonton, has announced that its equine showcase Horse Power will move from the September long weekend to become an integral part of Farmfair International in early November.

The change in dates was necessary to ensure that Horse Power remains a sustainable showcase for the equine community and one that will benefit sponsors, stakeholders and attendees for years to come.

With over 88,299 fans taking in the Canadian Finals Rodeo in 2008 and thousands more attending Farmfair International, Horse Power will have a thriving environment to grow and build an audience for the future. This will allow Horse Power competitors the opportunity to expose their sport to the substantial crowds that attend Farmfair International each year.

This event promises to get bigger and better. Two highlights for Horse Power 2010 will be the introduction of a Snaffle Bit Futurity and the return of the Breed and Stallion Showcase.
