WINNIPEG, MB, June 25, 2018 (CNS Canada) – ICE Futures
Canada canola contracts were down Monday morning, as trade
concerns continued to weigh on the market.
Chicago Board of Trade soybean, soyoil and soymeal were all
down also.
The United States and China trade war is weighing on
markets, as the initial date for applying more tariffs, July 6,
draws closer.
There were variable rains across the Prairies in the form
of thunderstorms over the weekend, which did provide a bit of
relief for some dry areas.
About 3,000 canola contracts had traded as of 8:46 CDT.
