WINNIPEG, MB, June 28, 2018 (CNS Canada) – ICE Futures
Canada canola contracts were quietly mixed Thursday morning,
ahead of Friday’s acreage reports.
Chicago Board of Trade soybeans, soyoil and meal were all
lower. With both soyoil and meal trading in a narrow range.
Traders will be positioning themselves ahead of tomorrow’s
Statistics Canada and United States Department of Agriculture
reports. It is expected that Canadian canola acres will be
increased.
Dryness concerns in Western Canada continue to influence
the market, with forecasts calling for rain over the weekend.
About 2,300 canola contracts had traded as of 8:46 CDT.
