WINNIPEG, MB, Oct. 15, 2018 (CNS Canada) – ICE Futures
canola contracts were stronger at midday, taking support from
rising soybean contracts.
“Just generally firm across the oilseed complex in the U.S.
that’s pulling canola up here,” said a Winnipeg-based analyst.
However, improving weather conditions across Western Canada
and a stronger Canadian dollar were holding back gains,
according to the analyst.
About 10,500 canola contracts had traded as of 10:24 CDT.
