Glacier FarmMedia -– Canola futures on the Intercontinental Exchange were down on Friday, despite earlier gains, after the release of a new report from Statistics Canada.

Canadian canola stocks totaled 15.62 million tonnes as of Dec. 31, 2025, compared to 13.23 million one year ago and the five-year average of 12.61 million.

An analyst said this is the end of canola’s rally unless there is fresh news in the near future. He also said rising soybean prices could spill over into the Canadian oilseed.
