Cattlemen’s Young Leaders semi-finalists announced

Eleven Albertans are among the 24 semi-finalists for the latest edition of the Cattlemen’s Young Leaders.

The program run by the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association pairs young people aged 18 to 35 with mentors in the cattle and beef sector who can help them develop their leadership skills and achieve their career goals.

The Alberta semi-finalists are Austin Ashbacher (Arrowwood), Carling Matejka (Ponoka), Delanie Knull (Crossfield), Gleise Medeiros da Silva (Edmonton), Heath Ferguson (Calgary), Jill Renton (Cayley), Morgan Williams (Gibbons), Nicky Nixdorff (Airdrie), Russell Gallelli (Crossfield), Sarah Golby (Youngstown), and Shae Wasyliw (High River).

The 16 finalists will be announced in August.
