The Canadian Wheat Board has made its recommendations to the federal government on final payments for the 2008-09 growing season. In its weekly newsletter Nov. 30, the CWB said final payments will be distributed once approvals have been obtained from Ottawa. The board’s recommendations include:
$4.39 to $35.12 for wheat;
$18.77 to $32.47 for durum;
$13.57 to $15.08 for designated barley; and
$80.15 for Pool B feed barley.
The level of final payment within each type of board grain will depend on the class and grade of wheat or barley delivered.
