“Rather than being caught up in day-to-day market chatter, most producers deal with the cropping decisions by considering some basics in addition to their own estimates of comparative margins above direct-cropping expenses,” said Blue.
He recommends using a tool like AgriProfit$, which provides comparative cost and return forecasts for crops by Alberta soil zone.
