Men over age 40 are being urged to have a prostate specific antigen (PSA) blood test.
The Prostate Cancer Centre’s Man Van will be at the Calgary Boat and Sportsmen’s Show from Feb. 4-7 and at Ag Expo in Lethbridge from Feb. 24-26.
In addition to PSA blood tests for early detection of prostate cancer, the Man Van team will assess other health indicators, such as body mass index, blood pressure, and blood glucose. The PSA blood test is available to men over 40 and the other tests to all men. The tests are free and only take a few minutes.
