Winnipeg, Dec. 14 (CNS) – Saskatchewan-based pulse
processor AGT Food and Ingredients’ stock has fallen more than
40 per cent over the last year, according to a post on fool.ca.
According to the post AGT stock hit an all-time high of over
C$41 in April, 2016, but is now trading around C$20 a share.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is
predicting the 2017 output of cereals and pulses from the
country to be at 62.3 million tonnes. The previous production
forecast was for 62 million tonnes.
Some lentil bids have dropped in Western Canada, according
to the latest information available from the Prairie Ag Hotwire.
Laird #2 3 lentils dropped one cent to 27 to 29 cents per pound,
while French #1 lentils fell four cents to 31 to 36 cents per
pound.
Dry bean bids are mixed on the Prairies, according to the
Prairie Ag Hotwire. Small red beans fell five cents to 31 cents
per pound. However cranberry beans and dark and light kidney
beans increased five cents to 27 to 32 cents per pound and 40
cents per pound, respectively.
