Pulses: Indian farmers not keen on free trade deal

Winnipeg, March 14 – Green peas fell 50 cents during the
past week, according to the Prairie Ag Hotwire. Prices are now
listed at C$7.65-$8.50 per bushel in Western Canada.
Prices for yellow peas in Western Canada were down 25 cents
on the week at C$7.00-$8.75 a bushel.
Navy beans are down three cents on the week across the
Prairies and are now drawing bids of 38 cents per pound.
