– Pulse acreages are up this kharif season in India, already increasing 40.22 per cent from this time last year, according to reports.

– A July forecast for Australia’s chickpea harvest this year is estimating an 86 per cent increase from June’s predictions for desi chickpea acreage, according to reports. Agronomists and traders alike are questioning the estimated 1.073 hectares, believing they are too aggressive and not a proper reflection of what has really been planted.
