Earlier this year at Manitoba Ag Days, Dr. Syama Chatterton, a research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, offered a presentation on root rot in pulse crops. In a negative ‘two for one,’ attendees may have been surprised to learn of a connection between root rot and another well-known soil pathogen: fusarium.
