At the AgTech Breakfast at Ag in Motion this past summer, Phytokana Ingredients pitched its case for growers to add faba beans into their pulse crop rotations. One main reason? As Drew Sharp says, agribusiness manager for Phytokana, faba beans are an ‘excellent pulse’ in rotation to help interrupt disease cycles such as fusarium or aphanomyces.
