What kind of Alberta research should get funding? That’s a question the province’s independent research funding body is asking farmers.
“Our vision is to see Alberta’s agriculture and food sectors reach their full potential — we are inviting you to help shape what that full potential looks like,” RDAR chief executive Mark Redmond said in announcing the survey, which can be found at rdar.ca/resources/community.
The questionnaire, which is open until Sept. 10, will be used as “an input” by the board of Results Driven Agriculture Research and an advisory committee. RDAR was set up in 2020 by the province to evaluate research proposals and fund the ones deemed to have the biggest impact for Alberta producers.
