Organizers of the province’s Living Lab initiative are looking for producers willing to take an in-depth survey on their management practices.
The “Adoption of Beneficial Management Practices Survey… is targeting annual crop, beef/forage/feedlot, or mixed producers who have not signed up to participate in the Living Lab program,” said Alberta AgriSystems Living Lab.
The federally funded initiative aims to develop and test management practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make farms more resilient in the face of climate change. It is being led by provincial farm groups.

The survey can take up to 35 minutes (depending on the type and size of the farm) but doesn’t require looking up records and no personal info will be tracked.
The survey can be found at agrisystemsll.ca and the deadline is May 30.
