The Canadian Tractor Museum is getting a funding boost from a major ag equipment dealer — and Albertans will have a chance to contribute, too.
The museum, which opened in 2002 in Westlock, has 90 restored tractors, 30 stationary engines, and hundreds of toy tractors for kids.
“A landmark for vintage tractor collectors from all over the world, the Canadian Tractor Museum is receiving a boost to keep this non-profit’s operations running smoothly,” states a news release from Rocky Mountain Equipment (RME), which is donating $50,000 to the museum over the next five years.

The ag equipment company, the largest independent dealer in North America, will also provide $5,000 annually for the next three years to help the museum host fundraising events.
The museum will host its first fundraiser, a “Black Tie Bingo,” in June 22 at the Westlock Memorial Hall.
The event will be an “upscale evening of food and drinks, an auction, bingo, live music and dancing, plus the chance to win major prizes,” RME said in the news release.
