Applications for the Cattlemen’s Young Leaders program are now being accepted until March 31.
The Canadian Cattlemen’s Association program is open to young people ages 18 to 35 who are involved in the beef sector, including producers, students, veterinarians, financial advisers and others.
The 16 participants chosen for the program are paired with an industry leader for a nine-month mentorship to help advance their career in their chosen field. They also receive $2,000 to put towards learning opportunities of their choice.
“We strongly value diversity amongst applicants where all are welcome to apply, as it plays a key role in young leaders gaining exposure to new ideas and creating peer learning experiences,” the program organizers said in a release.
