Registration is now open for 4-H Alberta’s 2020-21 club year.

“We understand this year will be different than previous ones and empathize with the difficulties in finding a location to accommodate members for meetings and project events,” the organization says on its website at 4hab.com.

The website has registration forms for youth, adults and clubs. All programs will be following Alberta Health Services guidelines and the website has an FAQ section on COVID-19 (click on the ‘About 4-H’ pull-down menu and then on ‘FAQS’). This includes information on wearing masks, a waiver that parents or guardians must sign, having work projects at a private residence, cohorts, self-quarantines, and what to do if someone falls sick during an event.

“Every club operates in a unique way,” the website states. “We are confident that each club’s leadership team will continue to support members in having a positive experience in an adaptive environment.”

Members are urged to contact their local key leader or area co-ordinator for more info about programs in their area. An email contact for area co-ordinators is also available on the website (click on ‘Resources’ and then on ‘Your Region’).
