The AgricultureNand Food Council (AFC) will continue to manage Alberta’s share of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s five-year, $163-million Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (CAAP).
AFC says initiatives funded under CAAP will be project-based and originate from industry. The program encourages the agricultural industry to work in partnerships across the value chain. Potential projects include a variety of issues and challenges, including traceability, environment, pests and diseases.
More information on CAAP in Alberta will be posted on the AFC website www.agfoodcouncil.comas it becomes available.
