Syngenta Crop Protection Canada has announced registration of Cruiser Maxx Cereals Commercial Seed Treatment. The new registration is a premix formulation of thiamethoxam, difenoconazole, and metalaxyl-m for use on spring wheat, winter wheat and barley.
Syngenta says new pre-mix formulation of thiamethoxam, difenoconazole, and metalaxyl-m will greatly increase the ease of use for commercial application compared to the tank mix of Cruiser 350FS and Dividend XL RTA.
Syngenta says the treatment provides superior application in seed coverage and reduction of dust-off, and helps prevent pests such as wireworm and other common wheat and barley diseases.
“In addition to fighting pests such as the ever-prevalent wireworm, Cruiser Maxx Cereals enhances root health and yield potential,” Scott Ewert of Syngenta said in a release. For more information see www.syngenta.ca/seedcare
