Art Froehlich has been appointed chair of AVAC’s board of directors, succeeding Bob Splane, who has served as chair since July 2007. Froehlich is a partner of AdFarm, one of North America’s largest agricultural marketing and communications companies. He is is also is the co-chair of the Alberta Agricultural Research Institute and Genome Alberta and sits on the boards of ATB Financial, Prince Rupert Grain, and the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research.
