Two Albertans receive Angus scholarships

Two Albertans have received Canadian Junior Angus scholarships.

Halley Adams from Forestburg is president of the Alberta Junior Angus Association. She is pursuing her second year of pre-veterinary studies and received a $1,500 scholarship.

Heidi Tymko of St. Paul is the CJA’s Alberta director. She is in the second year of agribusiness studies and received a $1,000 scholarship.

The first-place scholarship of $2,000 went to another CJA director, Meghan McGillivray of Kamloops, B.C.
