There is still time to register clubs for the 4-H Alberta Leaders’ Conference.
“We are expecting about 350 clubs, and that will be around 6,000 members and about 2,000 volunteers,” said Cameron Horner, 4-H communications specialist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry.
There will be numerous sessions during the 75th edition of the conference on Jan. 25-27.
“Sessions include farm to table using Alberta-produced foods; multi-species judging sessions; how to empower your multi-club volunteer leaders; pheasants, archery, creative option projects, and veterinary medicine,” said Horner.
The conference banquet on the Saturday night will include the 4-H hall of fame induction ceremony.
Registration closes Dec. 15.
“Please note that clubs don’t need to be registered yet for a leader to register for the conference,” said Horner.
To register a 4-H club or to attend the conference, go to the 4-H Alberta website or call 780-422-4444.
