You’ll have to bring your own coffee, but you can still participate in the annual general meetings of the three crop commissions normally held during FarmTech.
With the conference cancelled this year, Alberta Wheat, Alberta Canola and Alberta Pulse Growers are all holding their AGMs online. Alberta Canola’s meeting is Jan. 26 (from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m), Alberta Wheat’s is Jan. 27 (10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.), and Alberta Pulse’s AGM is later that day (3 p.m. to 4 p.m.).
During annual general meetings, the past year’s activities are reviewed, audited financial statements are presented, and there is voting on resolutions (and in some cases, elections) for registered farmer members.
