Alberta Milk has launched phase two of a campaign in which it encourages Albertans to help it reach a $100,000 donation target to support people facing food insecurity through a partnership with Food Banks Alberta.
Until Aug. 1, Alberta Milk will match donations made to foodbanksalberta.ca/abdairyfarmers to a maximum aggregate amount of $50,000, which will support 113 member food banks throughout the province. This follows the initial phase during which Alberta Milk donated $1 for every “like and share” of select influencer posts, to a maximum of $50,000.
Since 2004, Alberta Milk has raised more than $220,000 to support community campaigns and over 60,000 litres of milk have been donated to Food Banks Alberta.
