Farmfair International is adjusting its schedule to make the event more accessible to attendees moving forward.
The event will be moving to a Thursday though Sunday schedule, moving away from the Wednesday through Saturday format, as of 2026. The new schedule will be permanent.
The change is designed to strengthen the event. In a press release, Farmfair International director Leah Jones said including the weekend will create more opportunity for public attendance, enhanced programming and stronger overall outcomes for exhibitors, vendors and partners.

The 2026 Farmfair will run from November 5-8.
Farmfair International is an Edmonton-based show that has been a cornerstone of Canada’s agricultural expos. It is Alberta’s largest beef cattle show and has run for over 50 years.
Each November, exhibitors from across Western Canada gather to showcase their top livestock genetics to local ranchers, purebred producers and international buyers. The event features cattle shows and sales and is a destination for international buyers of cattle genetics. The event also has a youth focus, as well as a strong educational component.
