Rebecca Marie Carlson of Blackie, Casey Morey of Rochester, Heidi Trenson of Rimbey and Lisa Krista Jakobsen of Calgary are among 15 winners of John Deere 4-H scholarships for 2014.
The scholarships of $1,000 each go toward a post-secondary education related to agricultural/mechanical trades, engineering, science, business, or health.
Applications were reviewed by a panel of 4-H youth representatives and 4-H Canada staff.

“Our long-standing relationship with John Deere Canada enables 4-H Canada to strengthen its reputation as a leading positive youth development organization in Canada,” Shannon Benner, CEO of 4-H Canada said in a release. “We are very thankful for John Deere Canada’s commitment to 4-H’ers and their post-secondary education.
