Beef webinar season starting up soon

Backgrounding basics and crafting a grazing game plan are two of the topics in this winter’s season of webinars from the Beef Cattle Research Council.

The first webinar on backgrounding (Nov. 17) features two vets and a livestock nutritionist. It will be followed by ones on collecting data during calving season (on Jan. 12), developing a grazing plan (Feb. 9) and using a “risk-reward calculator” for Johne’s disease (March 16). All take place at 7 p.m. Alberta time.

“By registering, you’ll receive the link that allows you to watch the recording at any time, reminders to attend the live event, plus additional resources on the topic,” the council says.
