Learn to manage disease threats in livestock

The Animal Health Emergency Management project and its industry partners are offering a series of workshops on emergency responses to animal diseases.

The three-part workshop series are based on handbooks created by the organization on topics such as “Emergency Management 101” and proactive disease management. 

“The one-hour sessions progressively build out important animal disease management concepts and strategies,” it said.

The first workshop, ‘Navigating the Unexpected,’ began this month and there are four remaining dates (Feb. 15, March 1 and 22, and April 5). The second workshop will be offered on March 17 and April 14, and the final one in July.
