Take a walk thru on the dairy farm

It’s too soon to hold Breakfast on the Dairy Farm again. But a version of it — Walk thru on the Dairy Farm — is being held on Aug. 7 at Happy Cow Dairy in Red Deer County.

“Organizers have worked with Alberta Health Services to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols while still offering a fun experience for the whole family,” Alberta Milk said in a release. “The dairy farming community is looking forward to welcoming you, and answering your questions, in a safe and distanced environment. You’ll learn about what the cows eat, where they live, and how farmers take care of them.”

Dairy farmers will be present to answer questions about where milk comes from at the free event. There are different time slots and pre-registration is required. A link to the event can be found at albertamilk.com.
