Wildfire resources for producers

Alberta Beef Producers has an updated list of resources for producers facing the threat of wildfires. It can be found at abpdaily.com — click on the Wildfire Resources link in the upper right-hand corner of the home page.

The webpage includes numerous links, including ones for the Alberta Emergency Alert website and the Alberta Wildfire Status Dashboard. There is an interactive map showing livestock shelters and a pdf titled Emergency Response Procedures created for livestock producers.

There are also resources from the federal and provincial governments as well as some from counties in Alberta. The latter includes a two-page evacuation checklist prepared by Yellowhead County.
