Canada Beef is receiving up to $3.6 million in federal funding for marketing efforts.
The money will be used “to ensure the beef industry has the necessary resources to seize new export opportunities, to remain competitive and continue to be a sustainable driver of economic growth,” said a release from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
Some of the money will be used for training and e-learning activities at the Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence in Calgary.
