Chickpea growers urged to participate in life cycle analysis survey

Growers have an opportunity to tell the good environmental story of Canadian chickpeas.

Pulse Canada is assessing the environmental impact of Canadian chickpea production through a grower survey designed to captures production data. The results will be used to create a life cycle assessment for Canadian chickpeas, which is critical to prove the sustainability of ingredients to food manufacturers globally.

The survey will be open until March 31 and can be accessed through the Pulse Canada website. It will take about 25 minutes to complete. Prepare for the survey by ensuring you have key farm records on hand, such as fertilizer and pesticide application data.
